I relocated to Cheyenne in November of 2017 from the Sunshine State! When I moved I planned to take my training, certification, and experience from the Brooke Bennett Swim Academy and make some extra money while I searched for the right Nanny gig in Cheyenne. In December 2017 I started with 6 students and by July 2018 had grown to over 150 students ages 4 months to adult! Needless to say, it’s all I do now and I love it!
Now that I am teaching swim full -time and my student base continues to grow, I plan to add and share my swim safety education passion on to as many as I can in Cheyenne. It is exciting to be able to share ways to play and practice in the water safely with a community of teachers, students, and families.
I have my AS in Computer Programming, and plan on finishing my BS in Psychology and continuing on to get my Masters. I have over 10 years of child care experience and have been teaching learn to swim for one year. I taught with the help of the BBSwim in Florida where I was the nanny for 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Brooke Bennett and her beautiful family. I had the pleasure of learning from her program and instructors who taught me so much and I love them all dearly!! The thing I appreciated the most is that the program and the coaches are what make a child’s learn to swim journey quick, educational, fun, and safe! It really was hard to go, but I am excited for this new endeavor!
My name is Hunter and I am sixteen years old. I will be a junior in high school this coming school year. I am in JROTC and Civil Air Patrol. I was born in Florida, so I have been swimming since I was two years old. I have four siblings, two who I babysit often, as they are quite a bit younger than me. I love to swim and travel. I am CPR certified.
